We had a wonderful beach vacation and are all sad it’s over. We went to Atlantic Beach, NC and had amazing weather all week. Large areas of smooth white sand and lots of sea shells.
Nash brought his friend Max so he would have someone to jump the waves with. He doesn’t like being an only child so we allow him to bring a friend for most vacations and adventures.
We went over to the sound to see some friends and have dinner. The dress I wore is so lightweight and comfy. It’s under $30 and comes in lots of beautiful patterns. I’m wearing a small.
You honestly can’t beat this amazing view! It is breathtaking.
We got a little too much sun the first day at the beach despite applying sunscreen every hour, so we opted for some mini golf and a park in Morehead City the second day.
After the park we went to an early dinner at Southern Salt Seafood Co. & Waterfront Restaurant. They have a huge waterfront deck and a great menu selection.
I don’t eat seafood so I had the Down-East Egg Rolls and they were delicious.
Wednesday morning we visited 4 Corners Dinner for breakfast. How cute are their Mimosa glasses!! Food and service were both excellent!
Then back to the beach!
We ordered in from Michelangelos for dinner and had a few Blood Orange Vodka Cocktails.
Our last day we went to my favorite shop AB Surf Shop. Hands down the best surf shop ever!! I picked up a new Patagonia visor and super cute clutch.
Next we made our way to the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium. We have visited it several times with Nash and he still enjoys going.
We decided to go to Amos Mosquitos for dinner. In all my years going to this beach, I have never eaten there. We were told to get there early and I’m so glad we did. The restaurant opens at 5pm and when we arrived around 4:45 a line 40 people deep had already formed. After visiting I now know what all the hype is about. The food was spectacular and the service was truly outstanding.

The “SKEETERITA”
Steamed Pork Dumplings for an appetizer.
Roasted Garlic Pepper Rubbed Ribeye for dinner.
It was a superb vacation and we are already planning our next one. We hope to one day own some sort of home at our favorite beach but for now we will visit as often as we can!
Such a great trip with the family and Nash’s buddy Max!
