Once we were checked in, it was time to get “suited up” with our climbing/ziplining gear.  Rest assured the self-guided continuous belay system that TreeRunner uses is held to the highest standards by multiple different safety standards associations!!  The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and take their positions very seriously.  Safety is their number one concern at TreeRunner.

Next we all went through a short guided course to demonstrate that we understood how the equipment worked and that we were capable of using it.  All adventures start by climbing up a large cargo net to the main deck and then you can pick between the pink, green or yellow beginners course to start your first climb. Park guides are always waiting on the main deck to help you navigate to the course you would like to try.

We started with the pink beginners course.  This course consists of nine different obstacles and is the best course for younger and or fearful climbers.  The course ends with two consecutive ziplines.

We relaxed in between climbs at one of the many picnic tables.  They do offer a selection of beverages and snacks and you are also welcome to bring your own cooler.  The park has water cooler stations set up in multiple locations.  You can order food and have it delivered as well.  Last time we were there, we ordered pizza!  They also have corn hole boards that you can take advantage of when you are finished with your climbs.

Once the sun went down, the park was illuminated with multi-colored lights which allowed the boys to complete the green and yellow courses.
