Bahamas for my 40th Birthday!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Nassau, Bahamas for my 40th birthday with a wonderful group of friends!

The dress I wore was super comfortable and comes in many different colors and patterns.  Shop it here

We stayed in the most amazing private Villa in Orange Beach Hill with the ocean only 20 feet away!!   The house has a huge porch that looked right out on the water.  I honestly can’t say enough great things about the house managers!  They attended to all of our needs and were always available to help with recommendations for restaurants and shopping!  You can check out the house here!

Best part of the trip was that my best friend since the sixth grade surprised me and showed up at the Villa!  I can’t even put into words how much that meant to me!  The other girls were all in on the secret and pulled it off without me ever suspecting a thing!  It was fantastic!!

This first day we had lunch at a restaurant that was just down the street from the Villa.  We sat on the rooftop and had great views of the water!

We went to Ba Ha Mar Resort a couple of nights while we were there.  The resort is beautiful and has just about everything you can image!  We spent time in the casino and visited multiple different bars.  Also, it is only a few miles from the Villa!

The white dress I wore is from ASOS!  It’s perfect for summer!  You can find it here

A few of us ventured into downtown Nassau where the cruise ships dock.  I really wanted to visit the famous Straw Market and see The Queen’s Staircase!  They did not disappoint!  The straw market was super cool and had tons of cute bags and souvenirs!    I love the clutch I got and can’t wait to use it this summer!

The Queen’s Staircase was an adventure to say the least!  I would highly recommend using transportation and not walking from downtown (like we did).  It is a “must see” though and worth the walk or ride!  Check out the historic information about The Queen’s Staircase here.

It was an unforgettable trip!
