Tired of cooking and eating the same old thing every week? If your answer is yes, then you need to add this easy, delicious Beef Fajita recipe to your weekly dinner rotation. Fajitas are one of my favorite Mexican dishes. They are so versatile with lots of flavor. I prefer beef but they can also be made with chicken, shrimp or all three.
Start by heating the avocado oil on medium heat in a skillet. Next add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Then add stir fry beef, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin powder, cayenne pepper and chili powder.
Mix well so that all the spices combine. Saute for about 3 minutes.
Next add red pepper slices, orange pepper slices, yellow pepper slices and sliced onion.
Mix with beef and saute until vegetables are tender. Next remove from heat, pour in fresh lime juice and toss everything together.
Serve with hard or soft tacos. Garnish with your favorite cheese, sour cream, avocado, salsa and cilantro, if you like.
